Entertaining the visitors and workers at the Castine Days Celebration was the group of Fife and Drummers. They looked so cool under the big Elm on the lawn of a beautiful historic home.

Merchants lined Main Street today for Celebrate Castine Days. I worked at our booth, Castine Realty and enjoyed making cotton candy for the little ones.

This dog is Denny's best friend. Wherever Denny is you'll be sure to see the dog waiting in the truck . When Denny drives the truck, the dog almost sits on his lap. Now thats a local friend.

I've no idea why this rocking chair was sitting in this front yard on the road, but tonight it seems so perfect. I am in need of just sitting back and enjoying the view. How about you?

Every Thursday from nine until eleven thirty the Castine Farmers Market is set up on the Town Common. Lots of fresh vegetables, breads, fish, assorted other foods, jewelry, wooden, pottery, and fabric goods.

The Castine Volunteers who work so hard every year and the little children that show up to march in the parade. This is what makes our little village so very special.

A lot of locals turned out today to serve as volunteers to make this day a happening, especially for the children, the elderly and the dogs. What a beautiful day it has been.

No matter where one goes in town, lots of folks from yesteryears are in town to celebrate with their families.

The season has begun for the windjammers, and how we love to see them sail in and out.
